Dear gun owner:

I’m just like you… I want to be as safe as possible.  Does that mean a gun is the “be all end all”?  No it doesn’t.  But I do think it can be an important part of the protection puzzle.  A well trained person with a handgun may just be the difference between life and death.  I don’t ever want to be the person who didn’t have a chance or way to protect his loved ones.  I don’t ever want to be the person who wasn’t able to affect the potential outcome of an event because I wasn’t prepared.  I want to be the person that does all he can to do what it takes to be here for my family.

When a gun goes off, people die.  There’s no question about that.  But gun ownership can be as safe as any other type of “ownership”.  It takes some training, some education, and some practice.  With knowledge comes power, and I can provide you with all the knowledge you need to make gun ownership not only safe, but incredibly fun!

Whether or not you choose to carry a concealed weapon isn’t really the issue… that’s a choice only you can make.  The real issue is, how cool would it be to send a message to our Federal Government that Idahoans take not only their 2nd amendment rights seriously.  But their entire Constitutional rights seriously.

Some families hunt, and fish.  Others boat and water ski, or snow mobile and snow board.  I know of other families that serve in their church, or participate in “Family Fun Runs”.  There are tons of family hobbies out there… in my family we shoot.  I have 5 sons (the youngest is too young to shoot just yet almost three) but the rest of my family shoots.  We shoot mostly handguns and rifles with a little shot gunning thrown in.  The point is, we’re safe, we’re together and we’re having fun!

My sons don’t know all the laws about “the Castle Doctrine”, or the “Stand Your Ground Laws” or the “Use of Deadly Force”.  But they know how to always treat every gun like it’s loaded.  The know how to safely unload handguns, rifles and shot guns.  And they know and follow:

The Three NRA Gun Safety Rules

  1. Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction
  2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
  3. Always keep your gun unloaded until ready to use

It’s been said that 47% of all Americans have guns in their homes (it’s probably higher though, I know many gun owners who would never say they have guns in their home, they view it as no one’s business but their own).

There are over 300 million legal guns in American (I use the word legal because a gun legal in Idaho, may not be legal in California or Illinois).

Based on all of the above: Safety, Personal Protection, the 2nd amendment, Family fun, Idaho Law, NRA Rules, and all the households with legal firearms.  Doesn’t it make sense to take a class from Underground Guns?  Doesn’t it make sense to educate yourself and your family just a little bit more when it comes to gun safety?  We can never be too prepared or to safe can we?

Thanks for visiting the page; I look forward to working with you.  Please fill out the form on the right to receive more information.

Thanks again,

Scott Gibson
